Trading Stock Trends
Trading the Trends in Stocks, Commodities, and ETF's maybe evenForex havent applied the trend trading to the forex as it is very volatile ...and seems to work from the Far East to the West ..so you better get up early ..or stay up late to trade...like 2AM EST. But fo rthose who are interested in trading a trend , then you can use the basic MACD ..which is a combination of the advancing and declining issues for whatever time period you like to trade. Believe it or not, this is agood method to use ...only in a trending market. Which is DOWN, now a days. I have been a student of the market and a trader for years now, and have seen the 'personality' of the market change ...from a stodgy old slow moving syrupy colollus to the springing, jumping, ADD market of today. and the one basic premise that has proven itself over and over again ..is that THE MARKET WILL DO WHATEVER IT HAS TO DO TO HURT THE MOST PEOPLE ! That is not meant as pessimistic, but realistically speaking. By the time a trend has established itself, worked up the steam to be on the front page of the paper, (when the public FINALLY gets on track), then the trend reverses or at least withdraws...resulting the publick losing yet again. ALWAYS, ALWAYs...trade the Opposite of the newspaper accounts. When you hear on the TV, that 'gas is headed for 4 dollars a gallon", sell it . or get out of the long position for the time being. Granted, the market forces MAY drive gas to the 4 dollar level, but that will happen withOUT the news being on thefront page. just some interesting notes.

I have climbed Mt. Everest in a bikini with no additiona oxygen source, and 'they' claim I have been oxygen deprived for the last 22 years. So what ?
